Joy Notoma is a multimedia journalist based in New York City and Benin Republic in West Africa. Her work has appeared in HuffPost, Al Jazeera, and Roads & Kingdoms, among others. As a member of a Jehovah's Witness family, Joy
was moved to interview former members when she realized how little the general public knows about the group's shunning practice. She is grateful to the people who have shared their stories.
Nour Saudi is an interactive journalist based in New York. She has previously worked at Al Jazeera in Doha, Qatar and assisted on data projects with ProPublica and The Hate Index. She specializes in data and coding journalism.
She is currently an interactive coach at the Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY.
